The Maryland Theatre’s Operating Endowment was started by a local couple several years ago in hopes of relieving pressure from the annual operating fund. The fund purpose states that it was created to support ongoing operations and initiatives of the Maryland Theatre, including helping to preserve The Maryland Theatre as a non-profit historic landmark. Major repairs and critical maintenance items continue to present themselves as our Maintenance staff continues to upkeep our 17,000 square foot historic auditorium. The job of maintaining this space and marrying it with the ever-improving Theatre technology is never-ending! An endowment gift can perpetuate the donor’s values and will provide increment funding for years to come. It is rare to find a local family that doesn’t have a memory at The Maryland Theatre.
